Have you ever thought about a wood burning spa or swimming pool heater? Connecting these types of heating systems should be a doddle, you do not have to hire a qualified gas fitter of electrician however you do have to make sure that the fumes are extracted away from the swimming pool area and cannot be inhaled by humans or pets.
