We purchased this pump to replace an older Hayward 1-1/2 hp pump which was a Power Flo LX, model SP1515. Super easy to install; the power is much better than the old pump - circulates water beautifully and is just an incredible improvement. We run this through a Hayward sand filter and Hayward heater. I don't find it to be any louder than our old pump as some reviewers have mentioned. Great price and super quick delivery from Amazon. -- Super, very pleased with purchase
